Our Story
A Reason 2 Skate was born from a simple idea: that movement can give us a reason to connect, create, and express ourselves. Rooted in the freedom, energy, and cultural spirit of Venice Beach, what began simply as a passion has grown into a collective centered on movement, community, self-expression, and the belief that everyone has a reason to skate.
Today, A Reason 2 Skate embodies the energy, creativity, and culture of the Venice Beach community and is dedicated to promoting roller skating as an art form, a lifestyle, and a source of connection.
A Reason 2 Skate delivered an uplifting roller skating performance for Chris Standring’s Change the World music video, creating a visually engaging experience that complements the track’s soulful groove and contemporary jazz sound. Our team brought dynamic movement, expressive choreography, and modern visuals infused with warm, feel-good energy, perfectly aligning with the song’s positive and inspiring message.
At Tory Lanez’s album release event, A Reason 2 Skate infused authentic Los Angeles roller skating culture and Venice Beach energy into the celebration, delivering a vibrant, visually captivating performance that enhanced the overall production.
